Beyond just teaching poses, I bring a holistic understanding of mind, body, and spirit, honed over decades in the wellness industry. This extensive background allows me to tailor experiences that are not only physically beneficial but also deeply transformative, fostering lasting personal development.

Join me in Power Vinyasa Yoga, you will get a physical regime that gives you all the strength, mobility and vital energy to live a long, fulfilling life. At the same time, the philosophical principles that underpin Power Vinyasa Yoga and that are taught throughout classes will give you clarity, peace and equanimity.

VISION

My vision is for people to come together through yoga to live better individually and as a community.

There really is no substitute for experience and I have tremendous experience having been teaching for 15 years as my primary occupation.  I have taught over 10,000 classes.  I have run teacher training programmes.  I am the current New Zealand Yoga Teacher of the Year.

The judges, in naming me New Zealand Yoga Teacher of the Year, said my classes epitomise community-driven yoga classes.  They observed I have genuine connection with my students.  They noted my experience and said that I balance philosophy, mindset and movement in my teaching. They noted that I create a supportive space that inspires my students' practice.

With 15 years of dedicated experience as a yoga teacher, studio owner, and the privilege of training countless other instructors, I've seen first-hand the profound impact of these practices.  Your Vital Life was born from a deep-rooted philosophy: that everyone deserves the tools and guidance to cultivate growth and empowerment from within. My passion lies in sharing this knowledge to help you navigate life's challenges, discover your inner resilience, and truly thrive.

"I always look forward to practice and I have improved so much over the course of the last few months!  I always feel strong and grounded after leaving practice, but, most importantly, I feel very present and light."
